Well, off from blogging, anyway. I had some shows to catch up on a knitting project that I needed to finish. This scarf, as modelled by the only horse Miss Priss will own for a good long while, is a very late Christmas present for my Mom-in-Law. As aforementioned, she'll be arriving in (Holy Cow!) two days. I had made scarves for my two sisters-in-law, but ran out of time on the MIL scarf. Should have only taken me a week to finish it, but time has been escaping me lately! So I plunked down on the couch and refused to budge until it was done!
This scarf is a pattern I got from a booklet. It's very interesting, actually. It's made up of two separate pieces that are knitted with holes all down the center, then woven together. But it looks braided. Very cool!
Seems like a silly gift for a Texan in July, but I think the MIL will appreciate that I finished it!
OK, I have made a new goal for myself. No blog posting until I have all the About stuff finished! I've had so much fun with the blogging part, I haven't been taking care of the details. And now that I've joined the Mom Bloggers Club, I might actually have people who don't know me look at this thing!
